The body relies entirely on thread, which matters for that sink rate.

A purple base ribbed tightly with black creates a subtle segmentation that won't trap air or bulk up when wet.

The thorax and legs provide just enough life, the blue-winged olive dubbing pairs perfectly with soft, barred hen hackle that kicks and breathes in the current.

To finish it, the pearl wingcase is locked under a thin coat of UV resin, giving off exactly the right amount of flash to pull a trout's attention in deep water.
