You may be familiar with the Prince Nymph, it's a fly box staple. Well let me introduce the Psycho Prince, the flashy alternative.

The pattern follows the original pretty closely. Biot tail, ribbed body, white biot wings up front.

But almost every material has been swapped out for something flashier. The body uses UV Ice Dub in orange or purple instead of peacock herl, giving it a glow the original just doesn't have.

A wing bud of Crystal Flash or Flashabou sits just behind the white biot wings, adding movement and light that trout find hard to ignore.

Up front a collar of Peacock Ice Dub finishes things off, and a coat of UV resin behind the bead locks everything in place and adds one last hit of flash in the water.

Same fly, more attitude. On the right day that extra flash makes all the difference.
